Acer announces Acer Iconia Tab A510 its first quad-core Tegra 3 tablet for the North American market


Acer America yesterday debuted its first quad-core tablet in North America, the Acer Iconia Tab A510 based on Nvidia’s Tegra 3 (4-Plus-1) processor.

The new 10.1-inch tablet Acer Iconia Tab A510 with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system features a more intuitive interface and improved overall performance for faster browsing, better multitasking, as well as enhanced app and folder management.

“The new Acer Iconia Tab A510 will exceed the expectations of customers who are ready to embrace using their tablets for more fun, entertainment and a first-rate mobile gaming experience,” said Paul Tayar, director of product marketing for connected devices, Acer America.

Acer A510 is available for pre-sale starting Friday, March 23rd at any national electronics retailers in the United States and Canada at a retail price of $449.99. A510 comes in two premiere models A510-10s32 (silver color) and A510-10k32 (black color).
