Samsung launches GALAXY TAb 7.7 Lte voice-enabled with AMOLED Plus display in South Korea


The first Samsung Galaxy Tab that has an AMOLED display has been released for its domestic market (South Korea) and it will be available through SK Telecom.

Samsung’s Galaxy Tab 7.7 in 16/32GB variants of built-in memory storage features a WXGA TFT Super AMOLED Plus display (1280×800p), it is powered by a dual-core 1.5GHz processor, it is the first Lte Android tablet which has voice support enabled and it comes pre-installed with various Samsung Apps like Learning Hub, Social Hub, Readers Hub and other Samsung native apps.

In addition the 7.9mm thin tablet weighs only 345 grams, has a dual cameras; 3MP main camera and 2MP front-facing for video calls. Galaxy Tab 7.7 comes with WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity, T-DMB, microSD card slot, 5100 mAh battery and runs on Android 3.2 Honeycomb OS (upgradable to Ice Cream Sandwich shortly after).

The tablet will be available in silver color for a price of 800,000 won (about $715).
