LG Mobile announces the arrival of Optimus L3 to Europe


Announced at the annual Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain – LG Optimus L3 is expected to arrive in Europe by the end of the month.

LG Optimus L3 at its 11.85mm thick is a budget-friendly Android 2.3 smartphone  powered by a Dual-core processor clocked at 800MHz with 2GB of RAM. The phone has a 3.2-inch QVGA display, 150MB of built-in memory storage, a 3MP camera and a standard Li-on battery of 1,500mAh.

From Europe the next market where L3 is heading will be Russia and Asia followed shortly after by other markets around the world.

“We’ve always believed in the need to offer a variety of smartphone options and many people simply don’t want to pay for a lot of extra bells and whistles.” said Dr. Jong-seok Park, President and CEO of LG Mobile Communications Company.

“We think the Optimus L3 offers all of basic smartphone-related benefits but in a more premium package that hasn’t been seen before on a smartphone in this category,” he also added.
