GSMA announces winners of the 17th annual Global Mobile Awards


GSMA the organization that holds every year in Barcelona, Spain worlds biggest mobile convention – Mobile World Congress announced the winners of the 17th annual Global Mobile Awards.

Among winners Samsung received two awards, the award for “Best phone of the year” with its GALAXY S II and “Device Manufacturer of the Year,” Google also won the award for the “Best Consumer Mobile Service” for its Google Maps for Android, Rovio received the award for the “Best Mobile App for Consumers” with Angry Birds Rio, while SwiftKey won “Most Innovative Mobile App,” the list continues with more awards but we wont mention all of them, for the whole award winners list please visit GSMA website.

The 2012 Global Mobile Awards continue to showcase the greatest, most creative and innovative products and services driving the mobile ecosystem today and into the future. With a record number of high calibre entries this year, it is a significant achievement to have been honoured in today’s ceremony,” said Michael O’Hara, Chief Marketing Officer, GSMA.
