Where’s my Jelly Bean jar?

I am deliberately looking for the last couple of weeks at the rumor mill flying around in specialized media about Android 5.0 Jelly Bean’s OS arrival. Some rushed to speculate that the new Android version launches by the end of the second quarter which I find it pretty illogical, considering the fact that almost all major vendors such as HTC, Sony, Samsung, LG, Motorola havent even started rolling the upgrade to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich for their flagship phones.

Another, lets call it – clue pointing that Jelly Bean will not arrive by the end of the summer at least (and I am not pessimistic about it), is the fact that Google announced Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS in December of 2010, while Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS last year (2011) somewhere in October and officially launched it a month later in November.

To go even further, no Google official confirmed the name “Jelly Bean” as codename for the next Android version yet, although we all know that Google names its mobile operating system builds after sweet treats in alphabetical order and that the next letter to follow is “J.”

All in all I’m predicting the next “Jelly Bean” jar from Google will arrive somewhere in late October or early November but not sooner than the Q4 of 2012.

(Note: Dont forget to share if you like my post. I’m always looking forward in hearing other people’ s opinions).
