Set to focus this year on mid to high-end range devices, Hauwei launched early this year at CES in Las Vegas, Ascend P1 S which currently is the world’s thinnest Android smartphone. Seems that China-based company will become a fierce competitor for Samsung, HTC, Motorola, LG, Asus and others.
Furthermore Huawei Device has plans to unveil a ultra-thin 10.1-inch Android tablet in Barcelona later this month. A Russian tech-based website has managed to spend some quality time with it (see full gallery below).
Dmitry Ryabinin, senior analyst at Hi-tech.mail.ru claims that the 10.1″ Huawei tablet is ultra-light, ultra-thin and runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS. In addition the tablet has 3G support, microSD card lot and an 8MP shooter on its back with Autofocus and LED flash.
We will certainly see more of this tablet at MWC 2012 (Mobile World Congress) taking place in Spain at the end of the month.
