Sony Xperia S is one of the best Android devices right now although its only a dual-core with a 4.3-inch touch screen, the phone has the highest pixels density display (282ppi) and features a 12.1MP camera, 1.5GHz CPU, 1GB of RAM and 32GB of built-in storage.
We know that Xperia S will be joining the rest of Sony’s XPERIA lineup (Xperia P, U and Ion) at MWC 2012 and that it will be available for sale next month. But what we really want to talk about is the UI (user interface) which leaked out in video clip on Youtube.
Apparently the new custom-made UI after Sony bought Ericsson’s half of the joint venture will be called UXP NXT (see photo above on the side of the box says – Xperia NXT series).
A lot of changes has been made to Sony’s UI with the new Xperia S like the tweaks to the Gallery, Media player has also been refreshed and even the TimeScape looks revamped and this is just the beginning. I’ll just let you guys watch the video below about UXP NXT interface (quality of the clip isnt that great).
Also below there is an unofficial unboxing video of the phone in two parts showing whats inside the box that comes with the device, presentation of its key specs and fast briefing whats on the software side in the second part.
