Panasonic Corp revealed its intetions back in November 2011 when Japan-based multinational consumer electronics corporation with its headquarters in Osaka, Japan was announcing its plans to launch a few high-end devices in Europe, North America and Asia, plans reconfirmed a month later in December 2011 with the showcase of a new 4.3-inch qHD OLED dust/water proofed prototype.
Today Panasonic officially announced the ultra-light Eluga 4.3″ high-end smartphone we’ve all been expecting to unveil since December last year. In addition the phone weighs only 103 grams (amazing for a 4.3″ handset), features a 960 x 540p resolution display, it has NFC technology on-board and run on Google’s Android operating system (likely Ice Cream Sandwich).
More updates coming soon, Eluga will feature in Panasonic booth at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
