Rovio’s multi-platform famous Angry Birds game has conquered so far almost everything there is to conquer on planet Earth. Now the birds are looking to the final frontier, “Space” where no bird has gone before.
Rovio teases new Angry Birds episode called “Space,” due to arrive a month from now. The fourth episode unravels in strange places where AB will have to fight not only against new enemies but with zero gravity physics on alien planets as well. Rovio prepares some interesting gameplay elements like slow-motion puzzles and “warp” speed destruction.
Angry Birds Space launches on March 22 in partnership with NASA and National Geographic. Another worth mentioning fact is the number of downloads since the game made its debut in 2009 reaching a staggering 700 million figure on several platforms such as Android, iOS and Windows Mobile.
“Science and education are very important to us, and we’re very excited to have NASA and National Geographic as launch partners on Angry Birds Space,” said Andrew Stalbow, GM of Rovio North America
