Motorola Mobility releases an initial timeline regarding an Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade


Motorola Mobility updated their timeline regarding devices which are scheduled for an Ice Cream Sandwich software upgrade and which are still under evaluation. Besides the already announced ( DROID RAZR, DROID RAZR MAXX, DROID 4, DROID BIONIC, DROID XYBOARD 8.2 and 10.1, and MOTOROLA XOOM WiFI + 3G/4G) to receive an ICS OS treatment, Motorola also added a few more the Atrix 4G, Atrix 2 and Photon 4G all of them made it to the list and are now under heavy development.

Apparently the only device scheduled for an upgrade in the 2nd quarter is XOOM XyBoard Family Edition (8.2″) the rest of the handsets mentioned above will not see an over the air (OTA) upgrade at least in US before the 3rd quarter of 2012.
