A couple of weeks ago we were reporting about two mysterious devices which popped up on to UPnP Forum the LG-P700 and LG-P880. At that time we knew very little about them like LG-P700 runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich but nothing else.
Well today our friends at MoDaCo received from an anonymous tipster within LG Mobile some rather interesting benchmark test results about LG X3 (model number LG-P880). In the screenshots above you can clearly see an impressive 4412 benchmark score as well as the device is running Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich OS, but with Nvidia’s latest kernel release the 2.6.39 version (hint Tegra 3 chipset).
A list of key features tipped by MoDaCo’s source:
- 4.7″ HD 720×1280 screen
- Tegra 3 Quad core processor (1.5GHz on single core, 1.4GHz when on 2-4 cores) + SMP Core (core companion) for IDLE task operations which will save battery life
- 2000mAh battery
- 16GB internal memory + microSD slot
- 8MP camera with ultra fast shutter
- 1.3MP Front Facing camera
- Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0.3
This beast is going to the annual Mobile World Congress 2012 in Barcelona where we are also expecting to see the 5.3-inch Optimus VU already teased by LG Mobile and finally the next-gen Optimus 3D 2 (MAX).
