What you see in the picture above is apparently the LG Optimus Sketch a 5-inch handset with a stylus set to launch sometime in the first quarter. Is LG Mobile division trying to steal a piece of the action from Samsung’s Galaxy Note?
We have some hardware specifications coming from the same source about LG Optimus Sketch which features a 5 inches IPS HD capacitive touchscreen with a 4:3 ratio display, powered by a dual-core 1.5Ghz Snapdragon processor, 8GB of ROM (internal memory storage which can be extended through a microSD card slot up to 32GB), on the back there is an 8-megapixel camera, while for the front facing camera we don’t have any information (that if there is any), Bluetooth and looks like the new device is also NFC enabled.
LG Optimus Sketch will launch by the end of the first quarter in South Korea through SK Telecom and will arrive with Android 2.3.x Gingerbread OS, upgradeable to Ice Cream Sandwich afterwards.
According to the source of this photo the phone known until recently as Optimus Sketch will see a release under the retail name Prada Note, I know it is a little bit confusing but take it as it is. We will update this post once we receive more information about it.
