Samsung UK’s official press release announces White Galaxy Nexus release date

White Galaxy Nexus is up for pre-orders for a while now (early January) in the UK through a couple of retailers such as MobileFun and Clove. The device was scheduled to arrive today but it looks like something delayed it (hint — Valentine’s Day) pushing the official release date to February 13th.

Samsung confirmed that both versions of the Galaxy Nexus (16GB and 32GB) will be available in “partial” white color (the front side of the case is mostly black).

“After much speculation, we are pleased to announce the availability of the Galaxy Nexus White which follows the great reception the phone has received since it was launched back in November. One of the things we at Samsung pride ourselves on is the choice we offer customers, and we’ve enjoyed huge success to date by introducing white variants of our most popular models to our product portfolio,” said Simon Stanford, UK & IRE Telecommunications & Networks Division.

In terms of specifications of the White Galaxy Nexus everything remains the same a 4.65” HD Super AMOLED display that boasts a 720p (1280×720 resolution), a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 5-megapixel camera on the back,HSPA+ connectivity and of corse the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system.
