Samsung shifts gears certifies two new devices GT-P3100 & GT-P5100

Samsung is the center of attention in online media for the last couple of weeks regarding next super Android smartphone, the Galaxy S III and on top of that two new devices (tablets) showed up today on WiFi Alliance certification website — the GT-P3100 and GT-P5100.

The latest gossip suggests Samsung is gearing up for MWC 2012 where the company will launch a 11.6-inch Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich tablet (or maybe two) next month in Spain. Apparently the 11.6″  might feature the new Exynos 5250 2GHz Quad-core chipset (Samsung was working on since last year) and WXQGA (2560×1600p resolution) display.

Samsung is really considering to take on its fierce competitors Apple’s iPhone 4S and Asus Transformer Prime the first Quad-core Android tablet which right now is on top of its game eclipsing Samsung’s 10.1″ Galaxy Tab.

I think its safe to belive that the GT-P5100  might be the 11.6-inch while the GT-P3100 could be a 7-inch Android 4.0 ICS OS tablet to take on MeMo 370T and Amazon’s very popular and pretty cheap Kindle Fire which according to recent surveys tied up the Galaxy Tab in the number of units sold world-wide.
