Some Nexus S 4G owners managed to upgrade their devices to Android 4.0.1 in early January some didn’t because Google decided to withdraw the rollout due to some problems.

A new test Ice Cream Sandwich firmware build number IMM26 has been leaked out from Sprint, which according to Android Authority is a complete ROM with a new bootloader, new software modem and Android software version 4.0.4 ICS OS.

Our friends at AA also says that this build signed with release keys has a final kernel build, pointing that this could be a finalized firmware, which Google and Sprint might start pushing it out over the air (OTA) sometime soon (early next month).

Anyone with knowledge on how to flash a ROM that want this new firmware head over to XDA Forums to download the new IMM26 build.
