Samsung Galaxy S Advance officially announced, release next month


GT-i9070 surfaced over the weekend in a few real-life shots and a quick hands-on video on Youtube prior to the official announcemnet.

Samsung Mobile division announced on Monday morning a new mid-range device the Samsung Galaxy S Advance, an Android  smartphone better than the original Galaxy S because it sports a 1GHz dual-core processor, but not that great to pass Samsung’s current powerhouse, the Galaxy S II.

The press render above hints to April 25th which could be a potential date for the official release of the new  Samsung Galaxy S Advance.

Galaxy S Advance has a curved design borrowing a little from both of its cousins the Galaxy Nexus and Galaxy S. The phone features a 4-inch Super AMOLED display with 480 x 800-pixel resolution, a dual core 1GHz processor, 768MB of RAM, 16GB of ROM (internal storage), a 5-megapixel camera capable of 720p HD video recording and HSPA 14.4Mbps connectivity.

The GT-I9070 will be available starting next month in Russia and gradually almost everywhere on the globe in CIS, Europe, Africa, Middle East, Southeast and Southwest Asia, Latin America and China. No word on its pricing details.
