Although the Taiwanese company reportedly focusing on high-end devices this year, HTC has plans to launch a mid-range device at MWC 2012, plan revealed by folks at Stuff TV who got their hands on a press render showing a new device dubbed HTC Primo.
HTC Primo has a 3.7-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen with Gorilla Glass scratch resistant display, powered by Google’s Android 4.0 ICS OS, sporting a dual-core 1GHz Qualcomm processor, 512MB of RAM and a 5MP rear-facing shooter capable to record 720p HD videos.
Primo comes with Beats Audio technology from Dr. Dre like the other two high-end devices HTC Ville and quad-core HTC Edge/Endeavour (retail name Supreme) also schedule for a debut at Mobile World Congress late next month.
Comparing HTC Primo rumored specifications with the GALAXY W we should expect it at a price around £200 in UK ( about $250-$300 in US).
