It wont be long now before owners of Android tablets such as HTC Flyer and Asus Eee Pad Transformer OG (TF101) will get a taste of the new Ice Cream Sandwich operating system.
According to recent leaks both tablets will get a new firmware upgrade by the end of the first quarter of 2012.
While HTC recently finished delivering a new software update to improve the UI and Flyer’s performances, unfortunately it wasnt an ICS-based upgrade, but a Honeycomb firmware. HTC customer service confirms the Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade schedule to arrive in the first quarter.
Asus employees also confirm on official Facebook page that an upgrade to ICS for the Eee Pad Transformer TF101 is coming somewhere in middle of February.
If you’re the proud owner of one of these two slates all you have to do now is to get ready and arm yourselves with patients until the upgrade arrives.
