Nypon (build number LT22i) is the next in line Android device prepared to launch and maybe the last one under Sony Ericsson joint venture name. It is highly likely to make its official debut at the annual MWC 2012 in Spain next month.
Meanwhile Sony Ericsson LT22i by its number made a stop today at Nena known for its Android benchmark for hardware accelerated graphics.
Nypon LT22i features 4.0-inch qHD capacitive touchscreen, 1GHz dual-core Cortex-A9 with ARM Adreno 225 Mali-400MP GPU, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory storage, an 8MP rear-facing camera with Exmor R sensor and a 1320nAh battery. The phone runs on Android 2.3.7 Gingerbread operating system according to NenaMark2 test results.
We are not 100% certain if LT22i will feature ST-NovaThor U8500 chipset, but according to the test results above of the CPU type and the GPU’s clocking points to that direction.
