This beauty got leaked months ago back in September when Notebook Italia caught it on camera right before IFA 2011 held in Berlin, Germany. A month later Toshiba revealed it to the public in Tokyo, Japan under the name Regza AT700 and now the Android 3.2 Honeycomb tablet flew over the Pacific to reach North American shore and finally getting showcased at CES in Las Vegas.
In terms of hardware specifications Toshiba Excite X10 (Regza AT700) features a 10.1-inch WXGA capacitive touch screen 1280x800p resolution display, powering a Texas Instruments OMAP 4420 1.2GHZ dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM and 32GB built-in storage. X10 is ultra-light at 535 grams measuring 256mm x 176mm x 7.7mm. The tab also comes equipped with a 5-megapixel camera in the rear A/F, flash LED and a 2-megapixel camera in front; plus WiFi, Bluetooth connectivity and microUSB and microHDMI ports.
Toshiba Excite X10 sells in two versions a 16 GB that will sell for $529 and 32 GB model at a very spice $599 for a dual-core and not a quad-core tablet. Availability of this device is scheduled for the end of the 1st quarter.
