Samsung launches another entry-level GALAXY Android smartphone – Galaxy M (SHW-M340S)


Yet another entry-level Android smartphone announced by Samsung 24 hours after introducing the Samsung GALAXY Ace Plus.

The new device GALAXY M (model number SHW-M340S) made its debut this morning in South Korea boasting a 4.0-inch WVGA Super AMOLED Plus capacitive touch screen with 800×480 pixels resolution display, powered by a single-core 1GHz MSM7227 processor, a 3MP rear-facing camera, 4GB built-in memory storage, 1,650 mAh battery and Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system.

GALAXY M is under 10mm thick, packing a TV tuner and a sleek metallic body out of the ordinary if we consider the plastic back cover found on Galaxy devices. The phone is available in three color scheme: platinum silver (see photo above), lavender pink and blue-black.
