In a list of new devices from Samsung revealed to us by SamFirmware back in August a smartphone by its model number GT-I9070 surface this past week from several sources showing some interesting specifications.
The Samsung GT-I9070 passed through a couple of certification websites before Christmas such as WiFi certification, GLBenchmark, Bluetooth SiG and got leaked in User Agent Profile (UAProf) directly from Samsung Wap.
Apparently the device features a 1GHz processor with Mali 400MP GPU, probably a 4.0-inch capacitive touch screen since the resolution on GLBenchmark shows 480×800 pixels in its system information. The smartphone run on Google Android 2.3.6 Ginerbread operating system build number ZCKL1 (a version that we haven’t seen yet on any Samsung device).
Same GPU Mali 400 MP was used on Samsung GALAXY S II and we assume that the same SoC will be used on GT-I9070 as a minimum requirement which makes the 1GHz clocked CPU likely to be a dual-core processor.
