Archos debuts new Archos 70b Honeycomb Internet tablet available at £180


Archos announces a brand new Internet Android tablet called Archos 70b running Honeycomb 3.2 operating system which is an enhanced version of the Archos 70 IT Gen 8 that features an upgraded capacitive touch screen and a powerful processor at 1.2 GHz.

Archos 70b Internet tablet features a 7-inch TFT touch screen with 1024x600p resolution (while the old model has only 800x480p), Android 3.2 Honeycomb OS (Froyo on the old variant), powered by an ARM Cortex-A8 1.2GHz processor (1GHz on the first version), 8GB of built-in memory and 512MB of RAM.

This connected mobile device with a sublime user interface, 3D Graphics accelerator and Wi‐Fi connectivity, comes also with a full pack of connected apps such as a web browser and email application, HDMI output and Micro SD connectivity.

The new tablet comes with a “sublime” UI, 3D graphics accelerator, WiFi, Android market, HDMI port, microSD card slot, will be available within a month for the price of £180 (around $230).
