Skype announced today a new update for their Skype for Android application to version 2.6.0 which adds support to be able to share photos and videos to friends or family on your Android devices.
The upgrade also improves battery life and video quality on devices using NVIDIA’s Tegra 2 chipset, which include amongst others; the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, Motorola XOOM and Acer Iconia Tab.
The company extends video support with the latest additions including the HTC Amaze 4G, Motorola DROID 4 and Motorola DROID RAZR. Almost anyone with an Android device running Android 2.2 (Froyo) or above can install Skype and take advantage of its video calling feature for free.
