Fujitsu delivers the world’s slimmest Android smartphone

What do you mean by the slimmest Android smartphone in the world, isn’t Motorola Droid RAZR at its 7.1mm the thinnest device today?

No, it’s not anymore! This morning Fujitsu and KDDI announced a new Android smartphone in Japan — called ARROWS ES IS12F only 6.7mm thin. The name doesn’t say much as you will probably forget it by the time you finish reading my article, but it is incredibly thin isn’t it?

Fujitsu ARROWS ES IS12F sports a 4.0-inch Gorilla Glass display powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8655 1.4GHz processor, 512MB of RAM, a 5-megapixel camera on the rear and 1GB built-in memory storage. The phone has all the other usual WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, 3.5mm jack, both GSM and CDMA radios, a 1400mAh battery and Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system.

The smartphone will hit the shelves in January next year on domestic market (Japan) via KDDI for an unknown price.
