Verizon Samsung GALAXY Nexus receives final Android 4.1.0 update before release

Apparently a lucky owner of a Galaxy Nexus smartphone received a new firmware upgrade to Android 4.1.0 Ice Cream Sandwich over the air on Verizon Wireless Network.

This firmware upgrade seems to include a new Radio, disappointing or not that’s all bradgog, wrote on MyDroidWorld Forums so far about the new update, but at least we have confirmation that Google’s Android team closely works together with Verizon to fix all the bugs and bring a stable ROM to the upcoming release of Samsung GALAXY Nexus on Big Red’s network.

It looks like VZW and Samsung are very close to release GALAXY Nexus in a couple of weeks if not days.
