Motorola launches a new smartphone in China XT928 (Dinara)


Motorola Mobility is on a releasing-spree these days, a lot of new Android devices announced in the last couple of weeks.

Today we have the pleasure to introduce a new device rumored since last summer, Motorola Dinara (model number XT928). The smarphone will make its debut on Chinese market via China Telecom in December.

“The latest of China Telecom’s 3G Internet smartphones, the Motorola XT928 has great smartphone performance and imaging capabilities that surpass those of many digital cameras,” said Ma Daojie, Director of China Telecom Device Management Center. “China Telecom is well known for its strong portfolio of devices for professional users. With its combination of powerful multi-media functions and our fast e-Surfing 3G network, the Motorola XT928 will delight even our most demanding customers.”

Motorola XT982 (Dinara) features a 4.5-inch HD touch screen developed by Corning with Gorilla Glass (scratch resistent) with 1280x720p HD resolution display, 1080p HD video recording/playback capability, a 13-megapixel camera in the back, there’s also a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera and Dolby Digital Plus audio technology on-board. Powered by a dual-core 1.2GHz processor, 1GB of RAM DDR2, and Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system.

Do not ask about pricing details or a release date because Motorola Mobility didnt want to disclose such information just yet. This is the international variant of Motorola XT928 Dinara, expect it to launch in US and Europe in the near future too.
