Telecom Taiwan & Motorola launches Android 2.3 smartphone XT615 for youngsters

Motorola Mobility and Telecom Taiwan launched a new product today Motorola XT615 Android smartphone with a sleek design addressing to younger consumers in Taiwanese market.

Motorola XT615 at just 9.8mm thin and with a 4-inch FWVGA large display, 512MB of RAM, supports up to 32GB through the microSD card slot, running Android 2.3 and it is powered by a modest 800MHz Qualcomm MSM7227A-0 CPU. Equipped with an 8MP camera on the back and with a battery of 1390 mAh it is a smartphone specially designed for younger consumers at a small price or at least thats what Motorola thinks.

The smartphone will be available at any Taiwan Mobile myfone retail stores starting December for just NTD$10,900 (approximately $360 USD). For a small country like Taiwan $360 is not really a small price and XT615 is not a high-end device either, although its looks is pretty neat it might be easily mistaken with one.
