Lenovo plans to launch a 10.1″ tablet with Quad Core Tegra3 & Android 4.0 ICS OS by the end of 2011

A new Lenovo 10.1-inch tablet surface today, apparently the manufacturer plans to launch it by the end of this year.

The 10.1″ tablet will have on-board NVIDIA’s Tegra 3 Quad-core Kal-El chipset and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system. Further more on the specs side this tablet has 2GB of RAM (extremely fast at 1,600MHz DDR3) and another interesting feature is the fingerprint scanner which apparently has double use as an optical joystick too. No details about its cameras pixelation, its internal memory storage. It’s very likely to come with 4G LTE enabled and we are sure there is no GSM support nor NFC technology.
