Sharp’s skinny and big-screened smartphone series starts off with Aquos SH-01D which has now appeared in the FCC’s backyard, the phone packs a dual-core 1.2GHz processor and a glasses-free 3D 4.5-inch screen and runs on the Android 2.3 Gingerbread. Being splash-proof is one of its many plus points along with a whopping 12.1 megapixel camera as the phone is to make an appearance in Japanese NTT DoCoMo stores later this month in blue, white and black options. Even though Sharp has taken FCC’s approval on the phone, it may not show itself on the American market at all, while word for release in the rest of the world is still unknown. Word has been mum on the price of this mammoth as well but stay in the loop we’ll keep this post updated !!
