LG Optimus LTE smartphone with True HD officially introduced in Canada

While Bell Canada is busy expanding its next-generation 4G LTE wireless network across the nation, LG Electronics announced LG Optimus LTE, the world’s first HD LTE (True HD) smartphone, will be available from Canadian carrier in the coming weeks.

Optimus LTE boasts an amazing 4.5-inch True HD IPS display with 1280 x 720 pixel (16:9 ratio) resolution displaying sharp and crisp images with 2.76 million and 4G LTE technology. Powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core processor and running on the Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS platform, Optimus LTE has a 1,830 mAh battery, an 8MP camera on the back and multiple connectivity options, including HDMI and DLNA.

No pricing details yet and we are also expecting this smartphone to reach US carriers, although nothing official came from LG so far.
