Archos Director of Software Engineering, Marc de Courville in a monthly presentation held in Paris, France on Thursday October 27 for the “Paris Android User Group,” reveled that Archos G9 tablet will soon get an upgrade to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich along with a few enhancements to the hardware side such as DLNA support and 3G removable easy to use stick.

The French company prepares to launch in December a new model Archos G9 Turbo powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core Texas Instruments OMAP 4460 processor (the very same CPU from Samsung Galaxy Nexus) and Android 4.0 ICS OS.

Archos is the only tablet to support a HDD today, while the RAM doesn’t change as Marc said its enought to run 3D games without a problemw, the 1.5GHz CPU compensates.
