We believe that we have to bet on both — the tablet and the notebook,” company Chairman Jonney Shih said during an interview at AsiaD today.

Asus Eee Pad Transformer 2 only 8.3 millimeters thin, the tablet comes with a plug-in (physical) keyboard and it is powered by NVIDIA’s quad-core processor Kal-El. The tablet also features a 10-inch touchscreen, a battery that reportedly holds a charge for 14.5 hours (mAh capacity not available) and USB, HDMI mini ports. Details about its pricing have not been revealed by the chairman, but we’ll find out more on November 9th, when Asus makes an official announcement.

Transformer Prime is likely to come out of the box with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich as we previously reported.
