Samsung taking some BIG steps, Nexus launch Oct 19 in Hong Kong?

As we all know Samsung Electronics has made its name as one of the best brand in mobile technology. In the past year or two , Samsung has been constantly regarded as the next big thing and why not, Samsung always innovates.

Getting back to the news, well as we all know some of Samsung’s smartphones belonging to the GALAXY series were banned from sale in the Netherlands for violating Apple Inc.’s (AAPL) patents . Samsung has answered to this by announcing that it will be selling modified versions of the respective smartphones especially for the Netherlands as there is no such restrictions in other parts of Europe.

According to the exact statement of Samsung these modified versions of smartphones use alternative technology that have no infringement issues. Now that’s a good thing Samsung!!!!

The next big news from the Samsung hut is that they will finally unveil the much hyped about Nexus Prime (Galaxy Nexus as some of us know it) at the AsiaD (All Things Digital) event on Oct 19 in Hong Kong. This makes sense as it was yesterday when UK Executive of Samsung confirmed that the next Nexus device will be released very shortly.

The event will feature all the top executives from both Samsung and Google (Duh it’s a Nexus) like Dr. Won-Pyo Hong from Samsung and Andy Rubin from Google who will both be speaking at the event.

Well I have to say Samsung is taking some real quick, witty and big steps right now and lets see if it pays off.
