Security Alert: AT&T’s Samsung Galaxy S II lockscreen unlock pattern bypassed easily

BGR found a security flaw in AT&T’s Samsung Galaxy S II lockscreen unlock pattern feature which makes it futile letting anyone easily by-pass it.

A by-pass is successful after the device is powered on ONLY after the owner¬†of the phone has been successfully unlocked using the proper pattern at least one time. This flaw is not ¬†reported to Sprint’s Epic Touch 4G or T-Mobile variant nor to the original Galaxy S II. If you own one of these variants you should test this security flaw and see its by-passable or not, just in case.
