Samsung Electronics announced yesterday the launch of Galaxy R smartphone in China. The phone packs the very same hardware specifications as the global version with a few slightly changes on the software side.
Galaxy R has a few changes of pre-installed apps that comes with the device in order to address to Chinese consumers. To support local services apps like Sina, QQ and Youku were included right out of the box.
Powered by Google’s Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS, the Galaxy R comes with Nvidia Tegra2 dual-core 1GHz processor, 4.19-inch Super Clear LCD, 5MP camera on the back side, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, microSD card slot and 1650mAh battery capacity.
