Sensation XE with Beats audio technology officialized by HTC


HTC a global designer of mobile devices announced on August 10th a strategic partnership and investment with Beats™ Electronics, company that redefined the audio market with its iconic Beats by Dr. Dre™ headsets and audio experience.

Today that partnership is showing its labor fruits with the official launch of HTC Sensation XE, a second generation Sensation device with hardware improvements plus addition of Beats Audio technology. The phone features a 4.3-inch touchscreen with 540X960 qHD resolution display, a 1.5GHz dual-core processor (upped from 1.2Ghz on the first version), a huge 1730mAh battery, and 4GB internal storage (1GB on the first Sensation) extendable up to 32GB via microSD card slot.

This special edition Sensation also ships with a special pair of Beats by Dr. Dre headphones and a remote control allowing users to search through tracks or take calls without ever reaching inside their pockets.

HTC Sensation XE set to launch by the end of the month we are thinking of 20th September mystery event, held by the Taiwanese handset maker a week from now. Pricing is not revealed yet but we can tell you that its going to launch in Asia, Africa, Middle East and in Europe (odd – no word about North America).
