Nexus Prime becomes Samsung Galaxy Prime !?!!?

Lets start with the beginning, on August 18th we wrote an article reporting about Samsung’s strategy to produce a 4.5-inch Super-Amoled-HD Plus Display with 1280×720 pixels resolution, to reach that goal Samsung had to switch back to the RGBG Pentile technology.

We know that Samsung Electronics manufactures the next Google Nexus smartphone with model number GT-I9250 assigned to it. Alright so far so good, now rumors tell us Prime will sport a 4.5-inch touchscreen display and if we assemble the pieces of the puzzle together we end up with the following specification sheet:

Samsung Nexus Prime model number GT-I9250 features a 4.5-inch Super AMOLED HD Plus (Pentile technology) display with 1280x720p resolution. Such device has to offer at least 1.5Ghz dual-core processor, I’m guessing NVIDIA Tegra 2 (or maybe Kal-El) with 1GB of DDR2 all this hardware running on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwhwich. I almost forgot, lets add the NFC (near-field-communication) technology support too, while we’re at it and we’ve got ourselves a Titan among smartphones.

Further more some speculation says Nexus Prime is not the last name under which the device will launch, but Samsung Galaxy Prime and there is more information about a support page for I9250 model spawned on Samsung’s website. Right now its blank not much information except the title saying  “Support for GT-I9250.”

Impressive eh? What are your thoughts on this newly developed story? Is it credible are you satisfied with these specs or do you want more power juice added? Comments down below!!
