Samsung unveils Galaxy S WiFi 3.6″ display, 1Ghz OMAP CPU and Android 2.3 Gingerbread


Samsung revealed the newest members of the Galaxy family at the IFA event, in Berlin and besides Galaxy Note and Galaxy Tab 7.7, the Korean manufacturer showed off the latest Galaxy S WiFi 3.65-inch HVGA TFT LCD handheld device.

Galaxy S WiFi 3.6 is powered by Android 2.3 featuring a 1GHz OMAP processor, 512MB of RAM, a 2MP rear camera with LED flash, VGA front camera, plus the rest of connectivity hardware WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, USB port.

Samsung Galaxy WiFi 3.6 will hit the shelves in the United Kingdom in October, with the 8GB version retailing for £150 and the 16GB version retailing for £170.
