Fusion Garage brings two brand new devices, a 10.1-inch and a 4-inch tablets to the table, both running GridOS added on top of a Android kernel. Basically FG says its a new operating system having as its core Android, improved with its own user interface simplified to run smoother and faster kinf-of, how Apple built Mac from Unix BSD.
GridOS supports Android applications and Android applications runs on GridOS without requiring redevelopment or new code.
Grid 10.1-inch (1366 x 768pixels) display features an Nvidia Tegra II 1.2Ghz Dual Core processor and chipset, 512MB of RAM, a front facing 1.3MP camera (there is no rear camera??!?!), WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1, microSD, HDMI and USB ports, 3.5mm audio jack, 5800mAh Lion battery,16Gb of internal storage memory and last but not least, it weighs 690 grams.
Grid 4.0-inch (800 x 480 pixels) display features a Qualcomm MSM8255, 512MB of Ram, 16GB of internal storage, 5MP with Autofocus and LED flash (720p video recording capabilities), front facing 0.3MP camera. Further more bring all the usuals, WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1, microUSB port, microSD card slot, weighting 137 grams.
