The 3D technology isnt going anywhere anytime soon, which means Samsung could be next manufacturer to offer a 3D smartphone, according to some Korean rumors.
Looks like Samsung is working on a 3D device based on Android operating system, according to a report on Korean website, the ETNews, which will have to compete against other 3D models like LG’s Optimus 3D or HTC Evo 3D.
The phone could be named Samsung Galaxy 3D, and will most likely run Android, maybe Ice Cream Sandwhich if the OS, comes as announced this autumn, while Galaxy 3D is rumored to be on sales not earlier then the 4th quarter of 2011, like hollydays (around Christmas). The phone is also likely to feature Samsung’s in-house developed 1.2GHz dual-core Exynos processor, a 4.3-inch 3D LCD screen and dual 8Mpx cameras. There will be an HD TV-out as well to output captured 3D content (1080p) directly on the 3D TV.
We will get back to you when we have something else about the very first 3D device from Samsung.
