This is one of the apps i ALWAYS install on my Android phone, as it helps me to monitor very easily without any battery drainage, almost anything.  This should be a MUST install on any Android device, you’ll know what i am talking about the minute you start using it.

Elixir is a system information tool/application with highly configurable widgets, it allows you to display information about battery, cpu usage, memory usage, internal and external storage, display, wifi, mobile network, location services (gps), bluetooth, sync, airplane mode, sensors, and customizable apps can be added to this widgets.

Here is a small brief how i use Elixir widgets, on the lockscreen, i usually use three widgets, each 1×1 in size: cpu usage, battery usage, sdcard storage as these are the most monitored parts of my phone.

After unlocking the phone on one of the five screens i use, i always add a 7×1 widget in which i add the following: cpu usage, sms unread count, gmail unread count, battery usage, internal storage, external storage, and missed phonecalls.

In order to be able to use the Gmail, Calls, Sms Unread, you need to install the Add-on for Elixir which is also free on the Android market.

Elixir Personal Add-on:
– Gmail unread count widget for multiple accounts
– Sms unread count widget
– Missed calls widget
– Contact widgets. If you click on a contact picture, you can easily view contact, send an email, sms or make a call
