PocketDroid Review – Samsung Exhibit 4G

Samsung the worlds leading Smartphone manufacturing company has come up with its 4G phone with collaboration T-mobile the SAMSUNG Exhibit 4G. There is common misconception that the 4G phones are expensive. In order to burst this myth T-mobile and Samsung came together for a small Smartphone for the ultimate 4g experience.

Samsung Exhibit 4G is small Smartphone with a 3.5 inch display. The screen is super amoled .  The dimensions of the phone 119 x 58 x 13 mm. having thickness of just 13mm it is one of the slimmest 4g phone. The weight of the phone is just 125 grams. The super amoled display is the best display available for all smartphones. Thus the display is covered by gorilla glass which is scratch resistant. The display is so smooth, crisp and bright that it’s possible to us the phone in broad daylight. The display resolution is 480 x 800 pixels which is quite great for 3.5 inch devices.

A smarthphone should have a great combination of software and hardware. Let’s check if hardware matches up the today’s requirement. The phone got a 1 GHz ARM Cortex-A8 processor with Hummingbird chipset. It also has 512mb ram and a pretty gpu.  The specifications are almost same the Samsung’s trump card Samsung galaxy S. Though using microsd card the memory can be expandable up to 32 gb but a 200 mb internal memory is nothing. The battery back up is pretty low as it is having a 1500mah LI-on battery. Being a 4G phone the battery drains much faster, in our hands it gave us backup of 6 hours on 4G internet surfing and downloading.

Talking about the camera the phone has 3.2 MP Autofocus camera with LED flash. The camera clarity is pretty awesome. The colors are well separated and have great textures combinations. The video recording is only 720p while we expected full 1080P HD video recording. There is no dedicated camera key. The front camera for video calling is Vga. The Samsung has given it the Vga camera in order to reduce its price.
