Chinese manufacturers ZTE showed-off at CommunicAsia 2011, what will be the next affordable tablet running Android Gingerbread 2.3. The device named Light Tab2 is set to be on sales by the end of October for a price around $400.
Light Tab2 has a 7-inch capacitive screen, 1,024 x 600-resolution display and a fast 1GHz processor. Wi-Fi and 3G will also be availble, while a V9A model supports WiMAX. Additionally, 4G can be implemented via a hardware swap if the customer asks for.
One other key feature which few tablets have to offer is voice call function compatible with either a GSM or WCDMA mobile network.
