Another Asian handset manufacturer, the Chinese ZTE has plans to release high-end Android devices in the near future on US mobile market following the footsteps of their competitors; Samsung, LG, HTC, Asus, Toshiba, Sony and many more.
According to the Wall Street Journal the company see’s a big opportunity in the US market as potentially become the largest market for ZTE handsets by 2015.
“By 2015, we expect the U.S. to be the largest market for handsets for ZTE,” said ZTE America President Lixin Cheng. “Next year, we’re going to launch LTE and high-tier phones in the U.S.”
The Chinese company might be in for a long bumpy ride as the US market is already filled with a huge variety of Android devices, unless they manage to deliver top-notch devices like its fierce competitors at a decent price. I am intrigued to see what ZTE has in stored in the near future.
