LG Mobile introduced the worlds premiere smartphone to sport 2GB of RAM – Optimus LTE II, on its domestic market back in mid-May. The phone is an upgrade to the first model Optimus LTE (which made a pretty good impact on the North American continent as LG Spectrum or Nitro HD). Three weeks after its successful launch, LG delivered a white variant too in South Korea reaching a mark around 200,000 units in sales every month.
The new model will also hit the US soon as LG Spectrum 2 (LG VS930) on Verizon Wireless network as we saw it in a leak a couple of weeks ago.
LG Spectrum 2 for Verizon name is unofficially confirmed via TechnoBuffalo’s anonymous source along with a new press render leak. Expect Spectrum 2 to debut with the following specs:
- 4.7-inch True HD IPS display
- 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor
- 2GB or RAM
- 16GB of internal storage
- 8-megapixel camera
- NFC capabilities
- Android 4.0.4
