Twitter now allows Android Ice Cream Sandwich and Jelly Bean as well as iOS6 users to directly from their mobile devices to the web-based service without the need of the official application or third-party applications as it was previously the case.

The new feature was eyed by Sociable and appeared to work on the latest releases of both Android and iOS. The mobile website now features an ‘upload’ button beneath the tweet box (as seen above), this suggests that Twitter may be gearing up its mobile website for upcoming Android smartphones along with the ‘New iPhone.’
