samsung it doesnt take a genius ad campaign Samsung to run an anti iPhone 5 ad campaign in the national newspapers

On Wednesday, September 12 just three days ago, Apple launched its newest smartphone called the iPhone 5, a device which already raised a wave of dissatisfaction amongst iPhone users for the  simple fact that the hardware components are not even close to what they’ve been expecting.

Samsung USA plans to run an anti-iPhone 5 ad campaign in the national newspapers starting tomorrow, according to Steve Kovach from BusinessInsider. The ad uses tagline ‘it doesnt take a genius,’ to do a quick hardware specifications comparison between GALAXY S III and the iPhone 5.

Samsung Electronics is trying so hard to show whats already obvious for everyone (that their handsets are far better than the iPhone), in a way that’s becoming embarrassing for the South Korean manufacturer.

“Samsung Electronics is trying so hard to show whats already obvious for everyone (that their handsets are far better than the iPhone), in a way that’s becoming embarrassing for the South Korean manufacturer.”

It would make sense for someone who is inclined to all things Android to say such.

But this ad is targeted for the paying public.

And sadly, the paying public is not as knowledgeable, if you will, about the pluses of the S III against the iPhone.

Word-of-mouth in the street is predominantly about the iPhone. Because it’s so mainstream, to say the least.

At least Samsung is ramping up the advertising for the S III.

Why shouldn’t a company who basically copied another manufactueres operating system and phone design to start with try to convince people that their phones are better? I have owned two Samsung phones and for a company who is “suppoed” to be the number 1 rated maker of LED and LCD screen HDTV’s, why did the displays on BOTH of my Samsung phone quit? and SUmsung refused to do anything about it. I switched back Motorola phones and have never had problems with them. My next phone will be one from the original manufacturer or real smart phones.. APPLE!

I have held a Samsung Galaxy S III.. The casing is entirely plastic and uses regular glass. HOw is that supposed to be better than an all aluminum case and Gorilla Glass on the front? DUH!!!! Get a grip Samsung. Your reputation is starting to slip down the drain because of the $1.05 BILLION lawsujit you lost to Apple and Android will be next. DEAL WITH IT and start designing an ALL NEW PLATFORM AND OPERATING SYSTEM on n your own. MAYBE then you will free from havin gto face another lawsuit for patent infringement!
