A lot of people got excited at the hearing of a new Samsung GALAXY Tab version 2, especially because the Korean-based vendor announced that it’s going to release two versions of the GALAXY Tab 2 world-wide.
Both devices were scheduled for an early April launch in the UK, unfortunately for customers that had plans to buy one, Samsung says it’s not coming until the end of the month due to some last-minute tuning of Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) operating system. We are not sure what is the real reason of this delay because the company didn’t want to detail, but we are guessing it has something to do with ICS OS compatibility with Samsung’s TouchWiz UX (user interface).
Announced in February the two tablets were supposed to launch in March but we didn’t hear anything about them all month-long, further more Samsung also delayed GALAXY Note 5.3 inch Ice Cream Sandwich apparently for the same reason these two are being delayed as well. Even Samsung GALAXY S II are still craving for the Ice Cream Sandwich treatment in some part of the world.
