Samsung has started pushing out Android 4.0 firmware upgrade to all customers who own a GALAXY S II LTE variant in South Korea. The software update brings very long-awaited Ice Cream Sandwich operating system to Gingerbread-based handset.
The upgrade adds the following features to the GALAXY S II LTE:
- Platform upgrade, Android 2.3 Gingerbread → Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich
- Face Recognition (Face Unlock), Android Beam Adding
- Mobile Data Management Functionality
- Multitasking and applications, some usability improvements
The update will be available for NTT Docomo GALAXY SII LTE customers in Japan in early July too.
